Evidence Policy

Evidence Level describes the source supporting an article's central claim. It is not a truth score, safety score, or endorsement.

Evidence Levels

A — Government: laws, regulators, official registries, circulars, and consultation documents.

B — Official: protocol documentation, standards, specifications, and directly governing institutional sources.

C — Company: company terms, help centers, product notices, and direct statements about that company.

D — Trusted Media: accountable reporting with attributable evidence.

E — Community: posts, forums, screenshots, and community reports used as research signals.

F — Research Candidate: unverified leads and AI research outputs that are not sufficient for publication.

Assignment Rules

We assign the level supporting the central claim, disclose weaker dependencies, and do not upgrade an article because an unrelated stronger source is present. Philippine regulation and licensing claims require relevant Level A support and Human Approval.

Freshness

Sources can become outdated or change scope. Last Verified and Next Review are separate from ordinary editorial update dates.
